Multi-Search module

What it is for ...

Multi-Search (MS) is a powerful module that allows to analyze thousands of Natal Charts and pick up only those that fit some astrological/astronomical criteria.

Let me show some examples.

Example #1: Analyze all Natal Charts that form 30 Blue chips for Dow Jones Industrial Index and choose those that have MAXIMUM amount of "good" aspects today (|December 4, 2009). As a "good" aspect, we take here sextiles and trines. This is the result provided by Multi-Search module for this example:

The program chose three the most aspected Natal Charts (Amex, Boeing and GM). Highlighting any of these Natal Charts, you can see all aspects that affect this chart.

Example #2: Analyze the same set of Natal Charts and find those of that have MAXIMUM of "good" aspects and MINIMUM of "bad" aspect (under "bad" aspects we mean squares and oppositions).

Example #3: Analyze the same set of Natal Charts and find those that have a Natal ruler of the second house aspected by transiting Jupiter:

As you see the program has found only two charts that agree with this condition (CitiGroup, IBM).

Example #4: Analyze the same set of Natal Charts and find those with the Natal Sun in conjunction with Natal Jupiter.

We have found only one Chart that corresponds to this condition; it is McDonalds's (looks like this aspect works):

How it works

Let's consider the first example: Analyze all Natal Charts that form 30 Blue chips for Dow Jones Industrial Index and choose those that have MAXIMUM of "good" aspects today (December 4, 2009). We take sextiles and trines as "good" aspects.

To do that, we need to have two things: the file with natal data for these 30 blue chips and the model that includes all "good" aspects of the day.

Follow these steps:

a) Run the module: "Tools"->"Multi-Search";

b) Download the list of Natal Charts this way:

and

c) Define TRANSIT data (as we do not need ALL "good" aspects, we need only those that work within this specific day - December 4, 2009):

The data set to choose from is ready.

d) Now it is time to define SuperSearch/ULE  events:

Define "good" aspects to Natal objects this way:

e) And the final step - click "Calculate" and see the results:

Events used for these examples

Let us create together the events for all four examples above:

Example #1 is already described.

Example #2: Looking for the Natal Charts that have today MAXIMUM of "good" aspects and MINIMUM of "bad" aspects ("bad" aspects are considered to be squares and oppositions).

This is actually two conditions, not one. You have seen already how to create the first condition ("good" aspects). You need to create here one more event (L2) - "bad" aspects. Do it this way:

and type the formula L1-L2

Here L1- "good" aspects, L2- "bad" aspects, thus L1-L2 means the balance between "good" and "bad" aspects.

Example #3: Now we need to find among the same data set (30 Blue chips for DJI) those charts that have a Natal ruler of the second house aspected by transiting Jupiter.

Here we are dealing with another feature of SuperSearchULE module. It is called FILTER (planetary status) for Natal planets. Do it this way:

and define the house for "Rules the house" option (in our case, it is second house, so make sure it shows II):

In this case the program will analyze NOT ALL Natal planets, but the planets that fit our criteria i.e. only Natal planets that rule the second house of each Natal Chart.

Example #4: Analyze all Natal Charts and find those that have the Natal Sun in conjunction with Natal Jupiter. This is easy.
