What Timing Solution does and how to start working with it quickly

What Timing Solution does

We can generate a projection line that is based on different models. The good thing is that the projection line can be prolonged as far into the future as you would like to.

It can be a projection line based on regular cycles. Look at the picture below. It shows the projection line that is based on five strongest cycles:

It can be based on a model that applies astronomical/astrological cycles:

The forecast can be based on any kind of auto regression model.

We can make a forecast based on ancient astrological techniques (terms, faces, decanates):

Or it can be a projection line based on Annual cycle or any other astrocycle.

For example, this is the projection line based on the Moon phase cycle:

So many different projection lines... How to deal with them? Which one/ones we can rely on?

Very often we use the forecast committee. It is a combination of projection lines based on different models. Like this:

Here you can see five variants of projection lines, they all are based on different models. The committee technique shows the projection lines in regards to other projections.

How to start

Timing Solution is a huge forecasting system and it covers a lot of techniques. Plus the program has many experimental techniques. Experimental techniques are just the programmed features, testing of them was partial or was not done at all; and in most cases we do not know whether these experimental techniques are workable (i.e. suitable for forecasting or not). It may take several years before we figure out how the new technology works. Some new technologies (like quantum models) need a lot of calculations, it takes so much time that several years ago it was simply impossible to apply these models. In other words, Timing Solution is an evolutional system; this is my way (Sergey Tarassov's) of searching the rational forces that may move his Majesty the Stock Market.

It may be overwhelming to a new user of the software. So many techniques, including experimental ones, so many tools - what to do with them, what is a-must and what can wait? How much time may be needed to learn all that (and is it possible as well?)

Do not be afraid. It is possible, and finally you will do your projection lines and apply them for your trading. And the day will come when you - you! - will ask me to improve what is there already or to add something else.

However, you need to start somewhere. Remember this: there are some core techniques/modules/ideas that form the basis of this system. It is highly recommended to start with these simple basic techniques. Before moving to more advanced modules, you should be comfortable with these simple techniques. Do not treat them as baby steps of the first grader. With them, you get necessary skills. Plus, some of them can give you enough information to make some important decisions.

So, the list below is the recommended steps of getting familiar with Timing Solution software:

1) Downloading/upgrading the price history data;

2) Price chart manipulation: moving/zooming/maximizing the price chart;

3) Charting tools. Try first the classical ones (like Andrews pitchfork) and after that play with more advanced solutions - like Fourier string, wave forms. For EOD chart astro based charting tools are especially important;

4) Classical cyclical analysis - learn to calculate a spectrogram, specify the most important cycles and generate the projection line based on these cycles;

5) Astro based cycles - try to calculate Annual cycle, the Moon cycle, do a superposition of these cycles;

6) ULE module - this module allows you to construct different astro indicators;

7) Now you are ready to create more advanced forecast. Better start with EOD chart, check this class: http://www.timingsolution.com/TS/Articles/new_fast_intro_2011/

8) Intraday chart is much more difficult to forecast. Practically all newest modules are developed for intraday. More about intraday models see here: http://www.timingsolution.com/TS/Articles/new_fast_intro_2011_intraday/
